  1. Spooktacular Fun Days

An annual tradition of Irvine, CA fall activities for families, Spooktacular Fun Days at the Orange County Great Park will be held on Saturdays and Sundays, October 15 – 16 and October 22 – 23 this year. Though admission is free, you will have to register beforehand to reserve your place. Activities are specially designed for kids under the age of 12 and include crafts, games, Harvest Walk, and petting zoo.

The coolest, family-friendly Irvine, CA fall activity is skating around the Orange County Chill Ice Rink. The rink opens in the fall, usually October, and can be enjoyed through February.  Since the hours vary through the holiday season, it would be a good idea to check the timings before you head out. Season passes are available for regulars. If there are ice skating novices in your group, you can sign up for private lessons. The ice rink is also a favorite venue for many private parties and group events.

The event also offers an interactive craft area and lovely holiday music. Tickets are priced at $2 per person.
