December 2007 - Sainte-Claire, Quebec - Pacific Coachways, now in its 18th year, has added three new Prevost H models to its fleet, which now numbers 16. The company’s very first purchase was a Prevost, and while another make was once driven, today Pacific Coachways is proud to be “100% Prevost.”

The company was founded in 1989 when Tom Giddens—now CEO/President—and a partner acquired a startup operation. Today, Pacific Coachways is firmly established as a favorite serving the needs of the school and college, travel company, and package tour market. “We appeal to over-the-road customers who seek outstanding service,” said Giddens, “not just low rates.” Based in Southern California, Pacific Coachways enjoys repeat business from loyal customers that include the White House press corps and television show producers.

Mr. Giddens discovered Prevost when he began driving tour buses in the 1970s. “I worked for someone who was associated with a Prevost dealer,” he recounts, “and I really liked driving those coaches.” When he started his own company, the first coach purchased was a pre-owned Prevost. “The service people came around immediately,” Giddens recalls, “and over the years Prevost Service has always been a cut above.”
